Uganda's migrant workers decline by 34.6% as Ebola restrictions slow cross-border movement
Uganda recorded a 34.6 per cent decline in migrant workers leaving the country in June 2026, with the Ministry of Finance attributing the drop to travel restrictions introduced to contain the Ebola outbreak and limit cross-border movement.
